John/Lisa send in a trip report from Napa in the Day Trippers

I just wanted to tell you that I took my new 12 foot jacksonrec kayak out on Lake Hennessey here just above the beautiful wine country of Napa,California. I along with my wife, Lisa , and our two Boston terriers, Malcolm and Angus, spent the day leisurely watching the clouds going by.

The kayak was very stable in the water. There is plenty of room for a picnic lunch !.. I plan on going fishing up at the lake the next time I get up there. The kayak made good speed when I did want to have some fun paddling fast! There is enough room in the kayak for storing other things. With the water proof pouches provided your personal items should be well protected.

I have already purchased a second kayak , the 10 footer for Lisa and will be using that next time up here as well.

I could not be happier with this kayak and look forward to plenty of "good times" out on the water. I will be bringing my sons, Seamus and Declan as well to try out some new fishing spots on the lake.
