On Saturday, Oct. 4th 2008, The Outdoor Shoppe set up camp at Old Santee Canal Park in Monks Corner, South Carolina. We were joined by groups such as Leave no Trace, Lowcountry Paddlers, and many more. Blue Grass music played all day while BBQ and ice cream were served to the almost 600 guests of the park. Companies with guided tours, fly fishing demos, instructional classes, and vendors such as ourselves dotted the beautiful park. It was the perfect time of year for locals to see what the sport of paddling is all about. The event gave us the opportunity to launch our newest line of boats- Jackson Kayak! With recreational kayaking spots all over the lowcountry, Jackson Kayaks will provide our customers with all they need!
