Carman is a native of Cynthiana,
KY and the wife of our Chief Operations Officer John Ratliff. They have
two beautiful daughters, Abby and Emma.
A beginning kayaker in her Fun, she has set a personal goal of getting
on some local Class 3 runs before the end of the season. Her very first
whitewater trip was rafting down the Upper Gauley and she loved it. She
definetely is hooked and has set her sites on kayaking the Upper G and
firing-up Pillow Rock, which is her new favorite rapid. A big smile hits
her face whenever she talks about The Pillow. Look for Carman next year
giving Pillow Rock a big ole' splat in her Fun!
