Jackson Kayak Limited Manufacturers’ Warranty

Please use the following form as a quick reference for all potential warranty issues. Every boat comes with a full copy of the Jackson Kayak warranty.

This warranty is for select quality boats purchased from an authorized Jackson Kayak dealer!!

Jackson Kayak’s warranty is intend only for the original owner upon proof of purchase.

1) During the first 12 months of ownership we will, at our option, repair or replace the hull or seat that fails due to a manufacturing defect free of charge.

2) During the second 12 months of ownership we will, at our option, repair or replace any hull that fails to conform to this warranty, at a cost to the owner of twenty percent (20%) of the current Suggested Retail Price, plus shipping and handling fees to and from Jackson Kayak’s manufacturing plant or some other location which JK may designate.

3) During the third 12 months of ownership we will, at our option, repair or replace any hull that fails to conform to this warranty, at a cost to the owner of forty percent (40%) of the current Suggested Retail Price, plus shipping and handling fees to and from the Jackson Kayak’s manufacturing plant or some other location which JK may designate.

All customers are urged to go through the dealer from where the boat was purchased. Jackson Kayak may request the boat to be returned to Jackson Kayak or a Jackson Kayak representative.

 

Boat Warranty Process

All warranty boats need to go directly through the dealer from whom the boat was purchased.

Before you call or email Jackson Kayak, please have the following information available:

Boat type
Color
Model year
Date of purchase
Serial number
Description and/or photo of the issue

Once we receive this information, we will process the warranty accordingly.

All warranty returns must have RA # from Jackson Kayak before the process can begin.

Accessory Warranty Process

All Jackson Kayak accessories come with a one year limited warranty. Care should be given to the following components to ensure their longevity.

All defective accessories should be returned to the dealer from where the items were purchased and returned to Jackson Kayak once the replacement has been received. Items covered:

Happy Feet
Sweet Cheeks
Happy Seat
Happy Thruster
Fun Floats
Creek Floats

Examples of misuse:
Excessive pulling/tugging of hoses.
Pinching/crimping of hoses.
Punctures/cuts to bag.

All warranty returns must have an RA# from Jackson Kayak
