Growing up in the Rogue Valley in Southern Oregon, I was exposed to the river lifestyle very early in life. Having a family that loves the outdoors and rivers has led me to where I am today, a whitewater addict searching for the next horizon line. Whitewater kayaking has been an avenue to meet amazing people and see unbelievable places I never could have imagined.
Expedition paddling especially combines the best of what kayaking has to offer; great friends you trust paddling in remote and beautiful canyons, which often hold amazing whitewater. I've taken to this type of kayaking because the experience and challenge offered is like no other sport I have tried. So now I am just stuck devoting all my time to paddling and getting out there and having fun!
Jackson has shown to be a full-on kayaking company dedicated to the sport and pushing it forward. I couldn't ask for a better company to be involved with, especially in terms of my own fun and safety. After paddling these boats, I have come to appreciate the excellent designs and especially the safety features of the creekboats. Jackson has the aim to make the best boats and it is great to be paddling them!
