Vincent Andrus

Growing up in Birmingham, Alabama  Vincent enjoyed visiting small rivers and lakes while camping with his family. Most often fishing for trout, smallmouth , and Largemouth.
Later moving to Decatur, Alabama where water and fishing are plentiful. He quickly developed his true passion of the sport.
One day he  ran across some videos of guys kayak fishing. He borrowed a kayak ,caught some fish and the addiction grew from there. Where eventually he ended up in the kayak that has helped put him in the best areas for multiple large species of fish, the Jackson Kayak Coosa.
Recently moving to Nashville, Tennessee he and a good friend quickly established a skinny water kayak fishing group named Tennessee Skinny Water Kayak Anglers. With this group they hold tournaments,  promote saftey and conservation of Tennessee water’s. During this his son became a team member of Jackson Kayak Jr Squad and they have been steadily exploring Tennessee skinny water together in their Jackson Kayak Skipper and Coosa while still deeply involving themselves in local kayak fishing tournaments, teaching kids and adults the fundamentals and techniques of kayak fishing.
Between family ,full time employment with a Museum Fabrication company ,exploring new waters for trophy fish, and volunteering for local kayak events.Vincent still finds time to make and custom paint lures for friends and clients across the United States.
